5 months and 4 days later.. When our lips met..

January 18th, 2011.

We had been talking through Facebook inbox / Skype calls the last couple days and wow, we were both falling for each other incredibly fast. Since the start, i was never scared to fall in love with her, i was only scared she would never feel the same way. I was wrong. So after getting to know each other through the internet, and developing feelings for each other we decided to meet in the city. I wasn’t meant to stay at her house but a couple things happened which led to me sleeping at there. We got to her house late night but we all (Lili, Aaron, Charlene, Kirsten & i) decided to go to the beach for a bit at night as it was only a couple streets away.

We got to the beach and set up the blankets and started taking some photos and then Lili and I decided to go for a walk. So there we were, walking along the beach on the perfect night. Our hands then met and we walked up these couple steps that led to this grass area. We sat there and had a conversation. We were both talking about how content we both feel when we are in each others presence. So there we were, cuddling on the top grass which gave us the view of the sand, rocks, and beach.

A couple moments later we decided to get up and we went back on the sand and started walking a bit more. Her hand reached out to mine and we were holding hands again. I looked at our hands, looked at her, smiled and looked at the water and realised how happy I was. It was then, she turned to me, looked me straight in the eyes and……

She asked me what i was thinking. I didn’t say anything.. I knelt down and with my finger wrote in the sand, “Lili, I adore you” .. Got up and showed her while smiling at her. She then let out the cutest little girl giggle and tried to hide in my arms. It was the cutest moment.. but there was an even better one to come..

I then looked her in the eyes and said “Lili, what are you thinking?” and she stopped and looked at me for a good 30 seconds. Most intense 30 seconds. And just as i was about to speak, she put her hand on my cheek and kissed me. It wasn’t just any kiss. It was the most passionate kiss. It was love. It is love.

After we had kissed we just hugged and took a deep breath because we had both been wanting to kiss each other the whole day but we both didn’t want our first kiss to just be some kiss in the middle of the city.. it had to be special.. and wow, it was incredible.

So here i am today, It’s the 7th of May, 2011 and i’m in Torquay in our lounge room waiting for my beautiful girl to finish work so i can go pick her up. We have been together since the 12th of February.

I’m very lucky to be one of the rare human beings in this world, that has found their other half.

Lili, baby, I love you and i’m completely and utterly in love with you.
